Lead Retail Associate Ace Hardware

Summary of Job:
- Must have BASIC (or more) prior knowledge of ANY of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, lawn & garden, pool care, paint, general fix-it knowledge/general tool knowledge.
- Day-to-day consists of assisting customers, stocking inventory, inventory counts, creating displays, and leading others in a positive & upbeat manner!
-Compensation is competitive DOE.

- Must be able & willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, & holidays.

• Education/Training: High School degree. Posses a vast product knowledge of hardware/handyman related products along with a willingness to learn.
• Experience: Sales experience with retail programs, establishing relationships and working with customers on the sales floor.
• Previous experience in a retail environment either in marketing, sales, or back office a plus.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards; participate in store projects, resets, merchandise updates/moves.
• Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, Microsoft Word a plus.
• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Participate in assigned inventory projects & aisle management
