What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations (history, symptoms, lifestyle, prior records)
- Develop individualized care plans using functional medicine principles: nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, targeted therapeutics, and ongoing monitoring
- Order and interpret lab work (standard and specialty as appropriate): cardiometabolic, thyroid, sex hormones, inflammation, micronutrients, GI, and more
- Provide structured follow-ups and refine treatment plans based on outcomes, data, and adherence
- Educate patients on realistic expectations, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate closely with MAs, patient liaisons, providers and administrative staff to deliver a high-touch membership experience
- Document accurately and promptly in the EMR
- Practice within Florida and federal requirements for prescribing and patient management
- Perform physical exams, including complete pelvic health exams on men and women
- Provide medical care with appropriate emotional and psychological support, building strong rapport with each patient
The Clinical Approach We Need
- Open to training and willing to learn new techniques and protocols
- Strong understanding of hormones and confident practicing BHRT with a bold, evidence-based approach
- Current training or strong interest in developing an integrative specialty focus such as: BHRT, PRP, weight loss, sexual health, gut health, cardiovascular health, and related areas

Required Qualifications
- MD/DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Board eligible or board certified in FM/IM/EM/OBGYN (or similar relevant specialty)
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and comfort managing complex or chronic presentations
- High standards for documentation, safety, and patient communication
- Comfortable in a cash-pay environment where patients expect clarity, value, and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Functional medicine training (IFM certification/candidate, A4M, or equivalent)
- Experience in membership/concierge/direct primary care or private cash-pay models
- Strong lab interpretation skills and comfort following protocols
- Experience managing hormone therapy and ongoing monitoring
- Bi-lingual
Visit Model & Expectations
- New patient consults: 60 minutes
- Follow-ups: 30 minutes
- Typical volume: 12–16 patients/day
- Telehealth offered when appropriate, with clear compliance standards
