The Bartender is responsible for managing and maintaining bar service during operating hours. The bartender sets the tone of service and greets all guests into the bar. The bartender sells, prepares and serves all drinks and processes all payments. The bartender is the main face of the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES) OF THE POSITION:
- Checking ID, Preparing and selling drinks
- Preparing drinks to specification
- Maintain accurate pour standard
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all work stations
- Re-stocking products and materials
- Washing dishes, Removing waste, cleaning
- Maintaining ambiance and decorum
- Training and managing barbacks
- Accurately maintaining register drawers, counting down banks, drops, tip outs
- Cleaning service areas and pool tables
- Maintaining decorum among guests
