Looking for a fulfilling full or part-time opportunity? A Place At Home – Woodland Hills has flexible caregiving shifts serving the West San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley. We're currently looking to fill 8-hour shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and possibly Saturdays. Starts on Tuesday August 25th.

IN HOME CAREGIVER ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow personalized care plans to support each client’s unique needs
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders per the client’s care plan
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Observe and promptly report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior to the care coordinator
- Support clients with community outings and social activities to encourage independence and engagement
- Offer genuine companionship and emotional support — especially for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer’s
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
CAREGIVER EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, nursing homes, or group homes is preferred
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, developmental disabilities, ASD, or hospice needs is a plus
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Fluency in languages other than English is a bonus
- CPR and first aid certification not required but nice to have
CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient — this is who you are
- Must have an active California HCA registration
- Must have a current TB test or be willing to get one
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to assist with mobility support and safely use assistive devices as needed
