Tow Truck Driver

*FULL-TIME TOW TRUCK DRIVER - Washtenaw County*

We are looking for a reliable, experienced Tow Truck Driver for a full-time position serving Washtenaw County.

*Position Details:*

- *Location:* Washtenaw County, MI (Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Chelsea, etc.)

- *Schedule:* Full-Time - Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays

- *Pay:* Competitive - Based on experience + overtime

*Responsibilities:*

- Respond to roadside assistance, accident recovery, breakdowns, lockouts, jump starts, and tire changes

- Operate flatbed and wheel-lift tow trucks safely and efficiently

- Provide excellent customer service in stressful situations

- Secure vehicles properly following all safety procedures

- Complete tow logs, condition reports, and payment paperwork

- Communicate with dispatch and law enforcement

- Keep truck clean, fueled, and do pre/post-trip inspections

- Follow all DOT, state, and local traffic laws

*Requirements:*

- Well-experienced or willing to be trained

- Valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record

- Ability to work NIGHT SHIFT

- Knowledge of Washtenaw County roads and surrounding areas

- Chauffeur's license required

- Able to pass background check and drug screen

- Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, day/night

- Professional, customer-friendly attitude

- No major violations

*Preferred:*

- CDL A or B is a big plus

- WreckMaster Certification

- Light, medium, and heavy-duty experience

- Own tools a plus
