Soccer Referee

Being a great i9 Sports official has less to do with rules and policies but is more about your positive approach to upholding the values and atmosphere of our league. A good candidate does not have to have any experience officiating or be an expert in the sport.

An ideal official will not only serve as the enforcer of the rules, but will be a culture cultivator, an impartial on-field coach, and an advocate for our programs. When our officials are out having fun, so will the parents and players.

A great i9 Sports official should possess the following traits and characteristics:

Enthusiastic, Energetic, Punctual, Strong Willed, Professional, Alert, Confident, Fun, and a Great Communicator

Candidates should have their own transportation to be able to arrive at the field on time for early-morning setup as well as be able to be on their feet/run-around for the majority of their shift.

Game days are on Saturdays (Bremerton) and Sundays (Gig Harbor).
