VMI Account Executive Women's Footwear

This unique role offers the opportunity to manage a large retail business from style inception to consumer. The position handles both the retail and wholesale portion of a fashion footwear business. The role of Account Executive is responsible for understanding the detailed needs of our retail partner’s ladies footwear business through analytical skills, strong collaboration, and customer system navigation. Self-motivation, initiation, and an entrepreneurial attitude for a global brand is key to this role.

Role and Responsibilities

• Achieve Gross Margin & Sales expectations set forth by the department plan through the management of sales, markdowns, receipts, and assortment plan
• Partner and collaborate with the Director on all aspects of business using clear and concise communication to achieve goals
• Analyze on-going business of sales and strategies for total business and by-door allocations
• Maintain, enter, and manage seasonal orders & reorders after reviewing with director
• Assist in forecasting for future product to create strong seasonal assortments with limited product liability and maximizing profits
• Help monitor shipments daily from KGL to retailer to ensure delivery
• Communicate all logistical needs to merchants and facilitate changes securing timely inventory receipts that align with the OTB
• Understand and create selling reports often and as needed to help analyze and maximize business
• Point person for Men’s Footwear Business

Requirements

• Previous sales or buying experience
• Self-motivated, ambitious attitude, and detail oriented
• Thrives in fast paced environment
• Ability to analyze sales trends, forecast, and draw conclusions
• Comfortable working in manual systems and advanced planning tools
• Able to work in office 4x a week
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft platforms
