Carpenter

This carpenter position in construction involves a variety of skilled tasks including framing, trim work, door installation, demolition, minor drywall repair, and painting. The role requires teamwork as part of a carpentry team and demands a valid, good VA driver's record along with owning personal hand tools. Work hours range from 30 to 40 per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing and trim work with precision and attention to detail
• Install doors and complete related finish carpentry tasks
• Conduct demolition, hang drywall, and minor drywall repairs as needed
• Apply painting and other finishing work to carpentry projects
• Maintain own hand tools and ensure safety compliance on site
• Collaborate effectively with other team members in the carpentry group
• Clean up the job site at the end of the day and ensure all equipment and materials are properly secured
• Must be able to read blueprints and designs
• Measure and cut lumber to desired specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in carpentry
• High school diploma or equivalent
