Maintenance Foreman
Job Description
This position supports the daily operations of the Maintenance Department within a precast/prestressed concrete manufacturing environment. The role provides oversight to the maintenance team, including the development of the team through ongoing training, coaching, and development. The position ensures the high-quality completion of tasks and projects.
Responsibilities- Assist supervisor in managing employees and prioritizing work for the department.
- Read and follow blueprints, material lists, and guidelines, applying necessary timelines.
- Prioritize and plan work activities, deploying the team efficiently to ensure completion.
- Ensure safety is prioritized and proper safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Instruct and demonstrate the proper use of equipment, tools, and safety equipment.
- Organize, supervise, lead, and motivate team members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes.
- Commit to reaching goals and meeting deadlines.
- Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Provide team member training, coaching, and development.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
- Perform unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs throughout the facility.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Repair and operate a variety of power tools and equipment.
- Support the company vision, mission, and culture development by modeling these behaviors as a leader within the company.

Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a limited basis and 50 lbs regularly. Work is performed in various environments, including indoor production and outdoor conditions, with variability based on the season. The role involves walking and standing throughout a scheduled shift, with adherence to the stated work schedule.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $76960.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
