Job Description

Join a high-volume manufacturing team as an Assembler, working on an assembly line to punch grommets and rivets into manufactured blades. You will contribute directly to production quality and output by performing precise, repetitive tasks in a clean, organized facility, using power tools and measuring equipment while collaborating closely with your teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Punch grommets and rivets into manufactured blades on a production assembly line with consistent accuracy.
  • Follow established operating rhythms and team-based processes to maintain smooth workflow and production efficiency.
  • Use measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet required specifications.
  • Inspect parts and finished products for quality defects, paying close attention to detail to uphold quality standards.
  • Handle and operate power tools safely and effectively as part of the assembly process.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in assembly or general production work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use power tools safely and confidently during assembly tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and report quality defects.
  • Basic measuring skills and comfort using measuring tools to verify product specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn and follow a structured operating rhythm as part of a coordinated team process.
  • Openness to cross-training and supporting different stations within the production line.
  • Reliability and punctuality for assigned shift hours (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work area and following safety guidelines at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
