Job Title: Production Associate $20-25/HR - 1ST SHIFT

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Associate, where you will play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality tile decking and rooftop patio products. Our products are designed for both residential and commercial applications, offering superior quality and durability. As a Production Associate, you will operate manufacturing equipment, utilize hand and power tools, finish products, and ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble products.
  • Perform quality control checks on production.
  • Assemble and package products according to specifications.
  • Set up manufacturing equipment for custom orders and designs.
  • Read and understand work orders and blueprints.
  • Complete paperwork for shipping and receiving.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand and power tools, and automated equipment.
  • Operate adhesive machines to bond tile and substrate materials.
  • Pull inventory to fulfill orders and construct crates for outgoing shipments.
  • Perform light fabrication tasks such as drilling, measuring, cutting, and sawing for product sub-assembly.

Essential Skills

  • Strong skills with hand and power tools.
  • General labor and assembly experience.
  • Proficiency in machine operation.
  • Basic blueprint reading ability.
  • Experience in quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Carpentry skills are a plus.
  • Manufacturing and mechanical skills are a plus.
  • Ability to understand and execute work orders.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with multiple machines running and a variety of inventory and shelving units. The facility occasionally becomes dirtier due to the nature of the work, but is manageable with a team size of fewer than 25 people, fostering a close-knit atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
