Job Description

As an Operations Supervisor, you will work to eliminate unsafe conditions from all sorting, grinding, and washing activities. You will lead the Operations staff in executing the manufacturing plan during your shift, ensuring safety standards and quality specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Operations staff in executing the manufacturing plan during assigned shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance department to ensure equipment functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Partner with Technical & Quality staff to meet internal and external quality specifications.
  • Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Engage employees in promoting a culture of safety through personal commitment and outreach.
  • Provide exemplary customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Resolve service requests, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes with timely communications.
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
  • Represent the company positively to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Establish productivity goals, manage labor hours, and control disposal expenses.
  • Execute operational plans to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Support product delivery, maintenance, and equipment quality.
  • Create a communicative team environment and drive employee engagement.
  • Develop team talent, understand career goals, and provide coaching for advancement.

Work Environment

Work in a fully automated, new equipment facility within a large team. The environment can be dirty, but it is well-equipped for operational efficiency. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5:45am to 6:15am on a 2/2/3 rotation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
