Job Description

This role focuses on the assembly, inspection, rebuilding, testing, and disassembly of hydraulic cylinders in a production and job shop environment. You apply strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair defective cylinders, work from blueprints and work instructions, and use a variety of hand and power tools to ensure high-quality, efficient output.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic cylinders according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Inspect hydraulic cylinders and related components for defects, wear, and performance issues.
• Rebuild and disassemble hydraulic cylinders using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Perform diagnostics to identify issues and repair defective cylinders efficiently and accurately.
• Clean, polish, and deburr parts to meet quality and safety standards.
• Use hand and power tools, including tape measures and other measuring devices, in daily tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and industrial schematics to complete work orders.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with other duties in the shop as needed to support production and repair activities.
• Follow work instructions and safety guidelines in an industrial and machine shop environment.
• Contribute to mechanical and electrical assembly tasks as required by shop workload.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a job shop setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rossford, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Rossford,OH.
