Job Description
The Production Worker operates on a fast-paced food processing and production line, performing a variety of tasks that support the safe and efficient preparation of food products from raw ingredients through final packaging and shipment.
Responsibilities
- Work on a food processing and production line in a high-volume environment.
- Handle raw ingredients and prepare them for processing according to established procedures.
- Add seasonings and other ingredients accurately and consistently to meet product specifications.
- Assist with blending and grinding operations, monitoring equipment and product flow.
- Package products by canning, steaming (pressure cooking), bagging, and palletizing as required.
- Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials and finished goods.
- Operate basic production and packaging machinery and follow machine operation instructions.
- Complete packing and assembly tasks to ensure products are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and hygiene standards throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
- Perform the same assigned duty consistently throughout the shift, maintaining focus and accuracy.
- Stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Adhere strictly to dress code requirements, including hair nets, lab coats, beard nets, gloves, and no jewelry on the production floor.
- Support team members and communicate any issues with equipment, materials, or product quality to supervisors promptly.

- Comfort working in a food production setting with strict hygiene and safety standards.

- Basic understanding of general labor, packaging, and production processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level position suitable for candidates with limited prior experience.
- Previous experience in food production is a plus.
- Background in packaging, general production, assembly, machine operation, or forklift operation is beneficial.
- Ability to adapt to different departments and tasks within a production facility.
- Comfort working in environments with varying temperatures, including cold, hot, and normal conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32656.00 - $32656.00/yr.
