Day in the Life:
- Identify new sales opportunities by uncovering customer needs, following up on leads, and proactively expanding business within existing and prospective accounts.
- Partner with Outside Sales Representatives and Business Development Managers to develop account strategies and support larger sales opportunities.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge to recommend appropriate products and solutions based on customer applications.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and other commercial solutions while following opportunities through the sales process.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, account activity, and pipeline information to support territory planning and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer orders, product availability, pricing, and other requirements are handled effectively.
- Continuously develop sales, technical, and industry knowledge through training, collaboration, and hands-on learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; recent graduates with a strong interest in building a career in sales are encouraged to apply.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a natural ability to understand how things work, troubleshoot, and learn technical products and applications.
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, engineering, technical support, or a related field.
- Ability to travel to local customer sites 1–2 days per week.
