Laramie Dental Arts, P.C. is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Laramie, WY! Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients of all ages
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings
- Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
- Document accurate patient records and update medical/dental histories in the practice management system
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient treatment plans
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents as indicated
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental practice management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dental team
- Experience in periodontal therapy and preventive dental care preferred
