Job Description
Job Type: Contract 6 + Months
Shift hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:40 p.m.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with apartment leasing activities, including conducting unit showings, preparing leasing documents, explaining lease terms, and completing move-in procedures.
- Assist with unit inspections, including move-in, move-out, annual Housing Quality Standards (HQS), and follow-up inspections, and coordinate maintenance requests as needed.
- Monitor property grounds and common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive living environment and address lease compliance issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to resident inquiries, resolving concerns, and assisting with housing-related requests.
- Process resident account transactions, including utility charges, payment arrangements, rent adjustments, and account credits.
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident files, records, reports, and statistical data.
- Collect and process information related to resident income and family composition changes for interim reexaminations.
- Prepare correspondence, notices, verification documents, and other administrative communications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two (2) years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Basic business math skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidential records
- Knowledge of office procedures and telephone etiquette
- Typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required. No more than 6 points in 3 consecutive years.
