Overview

This position is a hybrid that oversees the organization's monthly financial reporting and

accounting as well as the day-to-day operations of a multi-site clinic.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily operational and business functions of the practice
  • Evaluates the organization's financial position and issues monthly reports on the organization's financial performance
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports and key performance metrics
  • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor productivity, revenue and clinical performance
  • Collaborate with physicians and department leads to improve workflow, patient throughput, and overall practice efficiency
  • Recommends financial policies and procedures to ensure internal compliance with organization financial policies and procedures
  • Implement strategic initiatives to support growth, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence
  • Oversee vendor contracts, facility management, and IT systems as needed


Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the principles of financial management is sufficient to direct professional staff and coordinate all aspects involved with fiscal requirements.
  • Knowledge of financial and budgetary practices to develop annual budget, analyze financial data and patterns, and prepare financial statements
  • Knowledge of strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies that improve performance and efficiency
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve objectives
  • Skill in evaluating operations as they relate to policies, goals and objectives, costs, and rate levels
  • Skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving accounting and financial problems

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare financial management
  • 5+ years of operational experience in a medical group practice setting
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and eClinical Works is beneficial
