Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and manufacturing painting, with experience in steel environments. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, as you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying various types of coatings to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel/metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Operate paint spraying equipment and other painting tools effectively.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members in fabrication and assembly processes as needed.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment when required.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED
• Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields such as auto body repair or aviation painting.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and materials handling techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.
• Experience with welding or machining is a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for measurement calculations and material estimates.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics within the role.
