Warehouse Logistics Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations. This hands-on leader will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transportation partners, and leading a high-performing warehouse team.

The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring warehouse and logistics operations are safe, efficient, accurate, and consistently meet established service and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, cycle counts, product movement, and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, freight, carriers, and transportation providers.
• Manage relationships and day-to-day coordination with 3PL partners.
• Monitor warehouse workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, staged, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain organized warehouse operations and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Monitor key operational metrics and address issues that may impact service, quality, or productivity.
• Partner with internal teams, including manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, and operations, to ensure smooth material and order flow.
• Utilize ERP/WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory and logistics information.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or related operations management.
• Proven experience leading warehouse teams and managing daily operations.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and freight operations.
• Experience working with 3PLs, freight carriers, and transportation providers.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similarly fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing operational needs.
• Hands-on management style with a strong focus on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
