Termite Inspector
Job Description
Admiral Pest Control has served Los Angeles and Orange Counties since 1947. We are family owned and operated, which means you get a small business atmosphere with the benefits and stability of a much larger company. Our reputation drives a steady stream of word of mouth business, and our inspectors are the face of it.
About the Role
We are looking for a licensed Termite & Pest Inspector to inspect residential and commercial properties, diagnose wood-destroying organism and general pest activity, and present the right solution to the customer. This is an inspection and sales role, not an application route. You will be in attics, sub-areas, and around structures every day, then back in front of the customer explaining what you found and what it will cost to fix. The working days for this role are Tuesday-Saturday.
We provide the inspections and leads. No cold calling, no chasing your own work.
What You'll Do
- Inspect homes and commercial properties to identify termite, wood-destroying organism, and general pest activity, including crawling attics and sub-areas
- Build proposals for termite treatments, fumigation, repair work, and recurring pest and rodent services
- Present findings to customers in person, explain corrective procedures, and answer their questions
- Provide quotes in person and by email
- Produce clear drawings and job details so the crew can execute the work correctly
- Enter termite reports and inspection documentation into our system accurately and on time
- Coordinate service setups with the office so accounts are established properly
- Perform annual Termite Control Service inspections on existing accounts
- Handle problem solving and customer concerns professionally
What You Need
- Branch 3 (Wood-Destroying Organisms) Field Representative license, required
- Branch 2 (General Pest) Field Representative license preferred. If you do not have it, we will support you in getting it.
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in attics, sub-areas, and outdoors for extended periods
- Customer service oriented personality with strong communication skills
- Self-starter with good time management
- Must pass a drug test
- Inspection, termite treatment, or repair experience is a plus. If you are licensed and strong with customers, we will train you on our process.
