Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Business Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison between business users, management, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will lead business analysis activities, mentor other BAs, gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive system and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Business Analysts on assigned projects
• Gather and document business requirements, epics, and user stories
• Work with management and end users to analyze business processes
• Identify process improvements and recommend system enhancements
• Collaborate with development and technical teams throughout implementation
• Manage change requests, backlogs, and project deliverables
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions
• Create process documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, wireframes, and technical specifications
• Support testing, implementation, and end-user training
• Lead small to medium-sized projects and help drive them to completion
• Communicate effectively with business, technical, and executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience or experience working with data and creating reports
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Public Administration, Computer Science, IT, Social Science, or related field
• Strong experience gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Experience creating business process documentation and technical requirements
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead projects

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL experience
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of test-driven development
• Agile best practices
• Experience with court case management or similar enterprise systems
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
