Construction Branch Manager

Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the branch office in the industrial construction sector. This includes managing project execution, ensuring safety and compliance, driving business development, and leading a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in project and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the branch.
- Project Management:
- Supervise multiple industrial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, superintendents, and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development initiatives.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and project estimates.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.
- Minimum 10 plus years of experience in industrial construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership or branch management role.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess all the core competencies expected of a Project Manager, along with strong in-office business acumen. While prior experience as a Branch Manager is preferred, the team is open to candidates who demonstrate comparable leadership, operational understanding, and strategic thinking.
This role requires a balance of field experience and mechanical knowledge, combined with proven Project Management capabilities. The Branch Manager will serve as the regional leader, responsible for overseeing operations, driving performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Although the preference is for candidates who can step into the role with minimal training, exceptional candidates without direct Branch Manager experience will still be considered if they demonstrate strong leadership potential and relevant experience.
