Union Square Foot Patrol Supervisor
Job Description
The supervisor’s prime responsibility is to serve as the critical link
between upper management, the Alliance and the frontline Officer force. While the
position is part-time, the responsibilities remain essential for maintaining a secure and
compliant operation. They will demonstrate strong leadership, situational awareness,
and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment throughout the
district.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision Management:
o Lead, train, and supervise a team of security officers, ensuring they adhere to
all security protocols and procedures.
o Interpret and enforce company-wide security policies, standard operating
procedures (SOPs), and local regulations.
Patrol Coordination:
o Oversee regular patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security
incidents across the district.
o Coordinate patrols to ensure complete and consistent coverage, addressing
any security vulnerabilities and identifying “hot spots” or areas of concern.
Incident Response:
o Act as the primary point of contact for escalated incidents, including
emergencies, use of force incidents or injuries to persons.
o Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and
management during critical incidents, maintaining communication and
following established protocols.
Communication Conduit
o Deliver security directives from upper management using practical guidelines
and one on one training for the security team.
o Collect feedback, questions, and concerns from personnel on the ground and
relay them to management for review and resolution.
Training Guidance
o Share updates, policy changes, and best practices in clear, easy-to-
understand terms to maintain operational consistency.
Team Coordination
o Provide daily briefings or updates to the security team, including relevant
updates from management.
o Escalate critical concerns to management when required, while handling
minor issues directly and efficiently. Work Hours: Sat-Sun 10:30-19:00
