FUEL DISPATCHER

Join the Rio Valley Biofuel Transport team, located on the West side of El Paso, Texas. We distribute gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, etc in El Paso, Albuquerque, OKC, and Waco.

Our Dispatchers are responsible for effectively supporting drivers in our fast-paced environment. We are looking for an energetic, analytical individual to join our team! Fuel Dispatcher Job Description

• Works in a professional, fast-paced office environment.
• Oversees and implements the planning, scheduling, and dispatching of all trucks in RVBT fleet
• Determines best delivery methods
• Works with drivers to ensure on-time delivery and pickups of scheduled loads
• Reviews and revises truck schedules to accommodate changes on planned loads to ensure efficiency of fleet
• Creates BOL packets
• Maintains incoming and outgoing load details
• Monitors and trains drivers on HOS
• Daily monitoring of drivers in all RVBT locations.
• Monitoring tank levels for customers to prevent runouts
• Communicate driver load issues to customer
• Communicate fuel shortages to customer
• Tracking of all demurrage charges
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• TMW Dispatch Software is a plus
• Active listener with excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of state and local regulatory compliance
• Logistics & Trucking Knowledge is a plus
• Required 1 year of dispatch experience

• Ability to work with all levels within a team and organization
• Proficient communicator in both English and Spanish
• Provides clear work instructions to drivers
• Demonstrates high resource utilization
• Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, analytical thinker, self-motivated and initiated

Starting pay (Depends on experience): $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 40 hour week
• 8-10 hour shifts
• Morning, evening, and night shifts
• Weekends as needed
