Location: Universal City, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite days: TUE-THU)
Contract Duration: Through September 6, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to support digital video publishing and content operations for a leading entertainment and media organization. This role will coordinate video content from planning through publication across YouTube and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with digital content platforms, and interested in entertainment, social media, online video, and emerging digital trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate digital video projects from planning through publication.
  • Upload and publish video content across YouTube and other digital platforms.
  • Create and optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and metadata.
  • Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage YouTube channels, including playlists, metadata, and channel organization.
  • Monitor YouTube Analytics and other reporting tools to identify audience trends and engagement opportunities.
  • Prepare basic performance reports and communicate insights to team members.
  • Research entertainment news, social conversations, viral trends, creators, and emerging platform features.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, production, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Perform quality checks on video assets, captions, graphics, and metadata before publication.
  • Support livestreams, digital premieres, and real-time audience engagement when needed.
  • Monitor comments and audience interactions during digital events.
  • Identify opportunities to improve publishing workflows, content performance, and audience growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in digital content, video publishing, social media, digital production, or a related area.
  • Experience with YouTube Studio or similar digital publishing platforms.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Analytics or similar reporting tools.
  • Understanding of video SEO, metadata optimization, and audience development.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with project management or workflow platforms such as Airtable, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting entertainment, media, lifestyle, or digital brands.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Knowledge of YouTube best practices and audience development strategies.
  • Experience supporting livestreams or real-time digital publishing.
  • Strong interest in social media, emerging creators, viral trends, and new digital platforms.
  • Experience working with digital content calendars and publishing workflows.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a digital content professional who understands how online video gets published, optimized, and measured. They are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and interested in entertainment, social media, YouTube, and emerging digital trends.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position based in Universal City, CA. The successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced digital media environment.
