Part Time Optician Assistant

Montgomery Eye Care of New Jersey (MECNJ) is now looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to assist the optician during the afternoon for approximately 8 to 10 hours per week. The optician assistant works under the direction of Mr. Ben Fazio and will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

Qualifications:

· HS Diploma or equivalent required.

. Scanning documents to patient records.

. Create and send prescription eyewear orders.

. Answering the phone and scheduling appointments.

· Ability to multitask, work equally well as part of a team or independently.

· Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and present a pleasant, professional demeanor/image during telephone conversations or in person.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to policy.

Job Type: Part Time

Pay: $15.92 per hour or current NJ minimum wage rate
