Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager / Broker to oversee the day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio. This role combines commercial property management, tenant relations, lease administration, financial oversight, vendor management, and leasing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial properties and the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, property owners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of commercial properties.
• Manage tenant relationships and respond to tenant needs and requests.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and building services.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Handle lease administration, renewals, critical dates, documentation, and compliance.
• Support lease negotiations, proposals, and leasing activities.
• Conduct property tours and assist with prospecting for tenants and buyers.
• Maintain accurate property records and reports.
• Assist with property budgets, financial reporting, and financial reviews.
• Work with CAM, NNN, reconciliations, and other property-related financial matters.
• Coordinate capital improvement and tenant improvement projects.
• Monitor property performance and identify opportunities to improve asset value.
• Collaborate with ownership, leasing, accounting, legal, tenants, and vendors.
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience.
• Experience managing commercial office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use properties.
• Strong experience with lease administration and lease negotiations.
• Experience managing tenants, vendors, maintenance, and day-to-day property operations.
• Knowledge of CAM, NNN, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Commercial leasing or brokerage experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and property management or CRM systems.
• Illinois Real Estate License preferred, or willingness to obtain one within 12 months.
