Caregivers

Hope & Healing Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide non-medical, in-home support to two clients in the West Valley. Your scheduled hours will be divided between clients in the Goodyear and Surprise areas.

We are a faith-based company committed to providing personalized care with compassion, dignity, patience, and integrity. Experience working with clients who have dementia is strongly preferred.

Current Schedule:

• Monday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

Applicants must be dependable and available for the listed schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction
• Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Provide medication reminders
• Encourage light exercise and engaging activities
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care
• Offer dementia-friendly support and redirection
• Maintain a safe, calm, and respectful environment
• Document completed care and promptly communicate concerns
• Provide reliable attendance and at least 24 hours’ notice when possible if unable to work

Requirements:

• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Article 9 training
• Prevention and Support training
• Current TB test
• Food Handler’s Card
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Experience providing dementia care is preferred
• Must be patient, compassionate, professional, and dependable
• Must have a working phone and communicate consistently with management
