Licensed Barber

We are seeking a skilled , passionate, and professional Licensed Barber to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality grooming services to our clients, ensuring an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door. The ideal candidate combines excellent technical skills in hair cutting and traditional shaving with strong commitment to customer service and shop cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Hair Cutting & Styling: Provide expert haircuts, trims, fades, and styling services tailored to each client's hair type, preferences, and requested style.
• Shaving & Facial Hair Grooming: Perform traditional straight razor shaves, hot towel treatments, and precise beard and mustache trimming, shaping, and grooming.
• Comprehensive Customer Service: Welcome clients warmly, conduct thorough initial consultations to understand their grooming needs, maintain friendly and professional conversation, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
• Station Cleaning & Tidiness: Maintain a spotless and organized workstation throughout the day. Sweep up hair immediately after each cut, sanitize and disinfect all tools (clippers, scissors, combs, and razors) between clients, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor.
• Client Management: Manage appointments, welcome walk-ins, process payments accurately, and recommend retail grooming products to clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Must possess a valid, current state Barber License.
• Experience: Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio of haircuts and shaves preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with various barbering tools, including clippers, shears, trimmers, and straight razors.
• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to make clients feel comfortable and valued.
• Reliability & Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and maintain a high level of energy, attention to detail, and professionalism throughout the shift.
