Oil & Propane Service Technician

Ardú Talent is recruiting experienced Oil & Propane Service Technicians on behalf of a well-established, family-owned energy company serving communities throughout Maine and New England.

We are seeking dependable technicians experienced in servicing oil-, propane-, and natural-gas heating equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization that values quality workmanship, customer service, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot oil- and propane-fired heating systems
• Maintain and repair burners, boilers, furnaces, and related equipment
• Assist with equipment installations, replacements, and upgrades
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Explain service findings and recommendations clearly to customers
• Document diagnostics, repairs, and completed maintenance accurately
• Follow applicable safety standards, codes, and company procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Technician License
• At least one year of relevant heating-service experience
• EPA certification
• Propane and Natural Gas License
• Appliance Connection and Service Endorsement

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds independently
• Ability to work extended hours in varying weather conditions
• Availability for after-hours and occasional weekend work
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently
