Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Key Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, administer medications, and collect lab specimens accurately.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, and patient education.
• Support smooth patient flow and deliver exceptional front- and back-office assistance.
• Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring full HIPAA compliance.
• Answer phones, coordinate appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform inhalation therapy and other delegated clinical tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or RMA certification (required).
• Current BLS certification (required).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with medication administration and dosage calculations.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and multitasking abilities.
• Prior urgent care or fast-paced clinical experience is preferred, but not required.

Schedule Options

• 12-hour shifts
• Day shifts only – no nights
• Must be available weekdays and weekends
• Holiday availability is required (alternating/rotational)

Our walk in clinic is a convenient one-stop shop for all your health care needs, with treatment for a wide range of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries as well as lab tests and digital x-ray services available on-site. We even offer many specialized medical services, such as weight management and cosmetic treatments, as well as a full range of occupational medicine services, including DOT physicals. We are the only urgent care facility in the area offering treatment from an emergency medicine specialist, and all of our services are available without an appointment.
