Buckley Cable Construction is an essential telecommunications construction company supporting the networks communities rely on. We’re seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to help keep materials organized, accurate, and ready for the field. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day warehouse operations through safe material handling, precise inventory transactions, and timely shipping/receiving across our locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments (truck/parcel) against packing slips and purchase documents.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment to job sites, crews, and/or other company locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts) and handle materials safely.
- Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in company systems.
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory control processes to reduce variances.
- Accurately enter data into required software programs; identify and correct errors using established quality checks.
- Scan, organize, and maintain documents and files (digital and hard copy) per company standards.
- Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations following organizational and safety standards.
- Make deliveries and/or transfer materials between facilities or job sites as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area; follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience required (certification required where applicable).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Comfort using online applications, databases, and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (as required by location).
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license required
