About the Role

Staff Pro is seeking a Staffing Operations Supervisor to lead and manage temporary field employees across assigned client accounts in Destin, Florida. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both clients and employees.

As a SOS, you will be the on-site leader and primary point of contact for your field team, ensuring employees are prepared, properly staffed, on time, compliant, and performing at a high level. You will also work closely with clients to maintain strong relationships, resolve staffing needs, and identify opportunities to grow our business.

The ideal candidate is organized, decisive, dependable, and comfortable making real-time decisions in a dynamic staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Supervision & Leadership

  • Lead, manage, and motivate temporary field employees assigned to your accounts.
  • Assign and oversee employee responsibilities during shifts, events, and assignments.
  • Set clear expectations for attendance, conduct, appearance, and job performance.
  • Address employee performance and attendance issues in partnership with HR & Compliance.
  • Determine employee readiness for placement and continued scheduling based on performance and reliability.
  • Conduct effective pre-shift and pre-event briefings to ensure employees understand expectations, dress requirements, job duties, and site-access requirements.
  • Serve as the on-site authority for your team and resolve questions or performance concerns in real time.

Scheduling & Workforce Deployment

  • Oversee scheduling and deployment of field personnel across assigned accounts.
  • Ensure staffing coverage, timely employee confirmations, and accurate headcounts.
  • Monitor attendance and no-call/no-show activity.
  • Coordinate real-time replacements and backfill staffing when needed.
  • Maintain staffing levels and respond quickly to last-minute changes and client requests.
  • Develop and recruit talent within your assigned market, using Talent Acquisition support primarily for overflow needs.

Client Service & Account Growth

  • Serve as an operational point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Communicate proactively regarding staffing coverage, employee confirmations, schedule changes, and last-minute needs.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and employees.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by introducing additional staffing solutions, roles, shifts, and departments.
  • Develop client relationships that generate referrals and opportunities for new accounts or locations.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience, with a goal of achieving ClearlyRated satisfaction scores of 9 or 10.
  • Address client feedback promptly and work to resolve service issues before they escalate.
  • Support the Operations Manager with account reviews, escalations, and new account/program launches.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Confirm employees are properly onboarded and meet all required employment and site-specific qualifications before placement.
  • Verify completion of required I-9, E-Verify, background screening, drug screening, certifications, and other client requirements as applicable.
  • Report workers' compensation incidents and workplace accidents on the day they occur and complete required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Work closely with HR & Compliance to ensure state-specific requirements are followed.
  • Confirm job requisitions are properly entered into the Job Order Module before recruiting begins.
  • Maintain accurate employee and assignment records in applicant tracking and workforce management systems.
  • Identify and escalate work authorization, documentation, safety, and compliance concerns promptly.

Operations & Performance

  • Ensure field employee timekeeping is accurate and complete to support timely payroll processing.
  • Track attendance, staffing coverage, fill rates, and other operational metrics.
  • Provide regular updates and performance information to the Operations Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve staffing processes, employee productivity, and service quality.
  • Provide hands-on operational support during major events, staffing surges, launches, and other high-demand periods.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in staffing, scheduling, workforce coordination, operations, or a related field.
  • Previous lead, supervisory, or team-management experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple employees, assignments, and client needs simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and high-volume events when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in temporary staffing or workforce solutions.
  • Experience supporting hospitality, light industrial, events, skilled trades, or similar staffing environments.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, workforce management platforms, scheduling systems, or timekeeping software.
  • Experience managing client relationships and growing existing accounts.
