Farmers Life Insurance Sales Specialist - Dallas-Ft Worth
Job Description
Build Your Career Beyond Your Own Book of Business
If you have built a strong foundation in life insurance or financial-services sales and are ready for a role with more leverage, more warm opportunities, and more leadership impact, this opportunity was designed with you in mind.
TexHQ, a Farmers Insurance North Texas district, is seeking a licensed Life Insurance Sales Specialist to partner with more than 50 established agencies throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a true player-coach role: you will personally help close life insurance business while coaching agency owners and sales professionals to become more confident and effective in life insurance conversations.
THE DIFFERENCE: This role does not depend on cold outreach or independent lead generation. You will work with established agency teams, existing client relationships, and warm referral opportunities across a large North Texas agency network.
About the Role
Approximately half of the role is focused on direct life insurance production with existing clients and agency-generated opportunities. The other half is focused on coaching, training, role-play, case development, and helping agency teams build repeatable life insurance sales habits.
You will remain close to the sale while expanding your impact beyond your own production. The goal is simple: help more families make informed protection decisions while raising the life insurance capability of an entire network of agencies.

Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is already a capable producer who wants to keep selling while expanding into coaching, leadership, and development.
REQUIRED: Active Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health & HMO insurance license.
EXPERIENCE: One year of successful life insurance or financial-services sales experience.
SALES SKILL: Experience conducting needs-based or consultative financial conversations and confidently asking for the business.
PASSION: A genuine belief in the value life insurance provides families and a desire to help clients make good protection decisions.
COACHING: Enjoyment of teaching, mentoring, role-play, and helping other sales professionals improve.
MINDSET: Competitive, self-motivated, accountable, relationship-oriented, and comfortable working with experienced agency owners and producers.
SCREENING: Ability to successfully complete required state and federal criminal background and credit checks.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Access to more than 50 established agencies and their existing client relationships throughout DFW.
Warm client and referral opportunities rather than a career built entirely around cold prospecting.
A role that keeps you actively selling while building your leadership and coaching skills.
The opportunity to influence life insurance performance across an entire network - not just your own book of business.
A structured Monday-Friday environment with hands-on district and agency leadership support.
Meaningful career advancement for a producer ready to grow into broader sales leadership and development.
The Person Who Will Thrive Here:
You're a salesperson first. You enjoy winning business, helping clients, and seeing measurable results. But you're also ready for your experience to create a bigger impact - helping another producer become more confident, improving difficult client conversations, and building repeatable processes across multiple agencies. You still want to sell; you simply want your success measured by more than your own individual production.
SELL. COACH. DEVELOP. LEAD.
How to Apply
Qualified candidates should submit a current resume along with proof of an active Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health & HMO license.
