We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide administrative support across multiple human resources functions.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Hourly, based on experience
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records.
- Answer routine questions regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, new-hire paperwork, and orientations.
- Ensure new hires complete all required compliance training.
- Conduct periodic audits of employee files and documentation.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR department.
- Assist with payroll-related questions and check distribution.
- Support safety training, benefits enrollment, employee recognition, and company events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of related HR or administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly learn HRIS, payroll, and other computer systems.
- Must be comfortable working in an office located within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
