Job Description

As a Land Rights Researcher, you will
- Research railroad deeds, easements and historical land data.
- Review engineering drawings, maps, deeds, and easements to approve railroad crossings.
- Use GIS tools and navigate county/state websites.
- Interpret and write legal descriptions for easements, deeds and leases.
- Complete small projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in Real Estate, Research, Geography, or a related field.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Earth Pro, ArcGIS & land record systems.
- Familiarity with real estate related to easements, rights-of-way, and legal descriptions.
