Shop Helper

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking Shop Helpers for an immediate opportunity in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to get started in a shop/manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in high temperatures, outdoors.

Pay: $18/hr.
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts Available:

• 1st and 2nd Shift: Monday–Saturday, 12 hours shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop duties
• Cut and twist wire
• Handle molten metal while following safety procedures
• Work around very high temperatures
• Secure chains and assist with rigging steel structures
• Assist with material handling and other shop tasks as needed
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors and in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in extreme heat and outdoors
• Must be comfortable working around high temperatures
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Must be available for occasional Sunday work
• Must be dependable and safety-conscious
