  • Rate: $22 per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Assembler who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable working with electrical or mechanical components. In this role, you’ll build assemblies and enclosures, read drawings and schematics, troubleshoot equipment, and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to keep projects on schedule.

Join a hands-on manufacturing team building pump stations and industrial systems.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant hands-on assembly experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Experience with hands-on production or equipment assembly.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Comfortable using:

  • Calipers
  • Tape measures
  • Levels
  • Compound squares
  • Digital multimeters (DMM)
  • Torque wrenches

Experience using power tools such as:

  • Jigsaws
  • Horizontal band saws
  • Belt sanders
  • Drills and drill presses
  • Chop saws
  • Grinders
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and solve problems creatively.

What You’ll Do

  • Build electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies and enclosures using drawings and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Use hand tools, measurement equipment, and power tools to complete assembly work.
  • Load PLC and touchscreen control software.
  • Troubleshoot and correct electrical and mechanical issues during production.
  • Work on multiple projects or orders while meeting production deadlines.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements to improve quality, productivity, and delivery.
  • Help develop manufacturing procedures and productivity reports.
  • Provide guidance and quality checks for other assemblers when needed.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to address scheduling, materials, inventory, and production issues.
  • Maintain the tools and supplies needed to support production.
