PPG Staffing is recruiting for two Instrumentation & Controls professionals to support a major semiconductor construction project in Chandler, Arizona. We are seeking candidates at both the Field Engineer and Superintendent level with hands-on I&C experience in complex industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, mission-critical, or similar construction environments.

Candidates do not need to fit both positions. We encourage qualified I&C professionals to apply based on the level that best matches their experience.

I&C Field Engineer

Immediate Hire

We are seeking an I&C Field Engineer with a strong technical foundation in instrumentation, controls, and low-voltage systems. A mid-level candidate will be considered if they have solid hands-on field experience and the technical ability to work effectively with construction teams, subcontractors, and project leadership.

Responsibilities may include:

• Support field execution of instrumentation and controls systems
• Review drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and related project documentation
• Coordinate I&C and low-voltage installation activities
• Assist with identifying and resolving field and system issues
• Work closely with subcontractors, engineers, project management, and field leadership
• Track installation progress, deficiencies, testing, and system readiness
• Support quality, safety, commissioning, and turnover activities

Preferred Background:

• Instrumentation & Controls experience
• Low-voltage systems experience
• Industrial or large-scale construction experience
• Semiconductor experience is highly desirable
• Strong field coordination and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and project documentation

I&C Superintendent

Immediate Hire

We are seeking an experienced I&C Superintendent with a genuine hands-on Instrumentation & Controls background. This is not a developmental superintendent opportunity. Candidates should already have the technical I&C knowledge and field leadership experience necessary to oversee installation, subcontractors, coordination, quality, safety, and project execution.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide field leadership for I&C construction activities
• Oversee and coordinate I&C subcontractors and trade partners
• Manage installation sequencing, manpower, schedule, quality, and safety
• Coordinate I&C work with electrical, mechanical, process, and other disciplines
• Review drawings, specifications, installation requirements, and field conditions
• Identify potential issues early and drive field resolution
• Support testing, commissioning, system turnover, and project closeout
• Communicate effectively with project management, engineering, owners, and subcontractors

Required/Preferred Background:

• Proven hands-on Instrumentation & Controls experience
• Previous field leadership or superintendent-level responsibility
• Strong subcontractor and trade coordination experience
• Experience working on technically complex construction projects
• Semiconductor construction experience is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of I&C installation, controls, and low-voltage systems
• Ability to lead field execution rather than learn the discipline on the job
