Manufacturing Plater I - Masking Experience Needed
Job Description
YOUR DAY TO DAY:
To perform routine tasks related to the preparation of parts for electroplating & related finishing operations under moderate supervision. Tasks include, but are not limited to, masking part surfaces using tapes, plugs, stop lacquer, wax & custom fixturing. Wiring or mounting parts on racks, sandblasting, visual inspection of parts for defects or damage prior to processing. Handling and packaging of parts post-plating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Preparation of parts for electroplating
- Masking part surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Prior plating shop experience performing masking and other pre-plating operations preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to details.
- Good organization skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate issues and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
- This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception. Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.
Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.00 / hour
