Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting dental professionals by providing efficient chairside assistance and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Working closely with the dentist and a small team of assistants, this role involves preparing patients, maintaining sterilization standards, managing equipment, and supporting administrative tasks to help deliver quality dental care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Perform sterilization of instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment
• Keep accurate patient records and support scheduling
• Take dental impressions and mix materials as needed
• Manage dental supplies inventory

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting
• Certificate in Dental Assisting or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
• Knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Familiarity with dental software and sterilization techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
