What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate medically prescribed respiratory equipment and supplies
  • Provide high-quality respiratory care aligned with patient goals
  • Train patients and caregivers on ventilators and DME devices
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members in discharge planning
  • Document patient care services accurately in medical records
  • Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
  • Stay updated with professional development activities

What You Need
  • Valid Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
  • 2+ years of clinical respiratory care experience
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory procedures and infection control
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
