Hvac Estimator

The HVAC Estimator plays a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of HVAC projects, including commercial and residential sectors. This position focuses primarily on multi-family, mid-rise, and high-rise developments, working mostly independently from an office setting. The estimator utilizes specialized software and manual methods to deliver detailed project budgets and bid packages, ensuring projects meet both client and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost estimation and project analysis for HVAC systems
• Conduct material takeoffs and prepare detailed bids
• Manage budget development and monitor cost controls
• Integrate project management tools with estimating software such as Viewpoint and PlanSwift
• Review blueprints and specifications for accurate scope identification
• Communicate effectively to support project needs and clarify estimates

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC estimating
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and construction estimating
• Proficient in cost analysis, blueprint reading, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and time management
