Welder

Full-time, temp-to-hire Welder needed in Livermore for a Monday–Friday position. The role involves TIG, MIG, and GMAW-P welding, fabrication of high- and low-voltage cabinets and components, reading drawings and specifications, measuring and fitting materials, and finishing welds to required tolerances. Training will be provided across two shifts: 4:00 AM–12:30 PM and 1:30 PM–10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and GMAW-P welding on various components and units.
• Read travelers, drawings, measurements, and weld specifications.
• Measure, tack, fit, and align materials to required tolerances.
• Grind, sand, and finish welds while removing surface blemishes.
• Use overhead cranes and welding/grinding tools as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of welding experience preferred.
• TIG and MIG welding experience required.
• GMAW-P welding experience and ability to control heat and welding parameters.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications and accurately measure materials.
• Strong attention to tolerances, fit-up, and weld quality.
• Must pass a background check.
