Irrigation Technician

We are a small, growing company looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a hands on position for someone who understands irrigation systems, enjoys troubleshooting, and can work independently while providing quality service to our customers. As a small company, there is plenty of room to grow and take on additional responsibility as your skills and experience develop.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues
• Track and identify irrigation wires and locate valves
• Repair and replace sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and other irrigation components
• Install new irrigation systems and components
• Inspect systems to identify leaks, wiring issues, damaged equipment, and other problems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing irrigation systems
• Ensure irrigation systems are operating properly and efficiently
• Communicate with customers regarding system issues and completed work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other irrigation related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with irrigation systems is required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of irrigation wiring, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers
• Ability to locate and diagnose irrigation system components
• Experience installing and repairing irrigation systems
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn and grow with the company
