What You’ll Do

You’ll tear down, fix, put back together, and test hydraulic cylinders used on industrial, construction, and farm equipment.

Daily Tasks

• Repair Work: Take apart worn cylinders, check components, put in new seals, reassemble them, and test that they work.
• Shop Duties: Use hand tools, precision measuring gear (calipers/micrometers), and run equipment like forklifts or overhead cranes to move heavy parts.
• Upkeep: Keep your work zone clean, follow safety rules, and jump in to help other areas of the shop when needed.

What You Need to Qualify

• Requirements: A strong mechanical background, your own set of basic hand tools, and the physical ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 25–75 lbs.
• Big Pluses: Prior experience repairing hydraulic cylinders, understanding seal types, reading calipers/micrometers, or having welding/machining skills.
