Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Auto Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate has experience running automatic screen-printing presses (ROQ, M&R, or similar), understands ink systems and garment handling, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll be responsible for setup, registration, and production of high-quality prints on a variety of garments.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate an automatic press (ROQ, M&R, etc.) for multi-color jobs
- Maintain tight registration and consistent print quality
- Mix and load inks according to job specifications
- Load/unload garments efficiently while maintaining quality control
- Perform test prints and make on-press adjustments as needed
- Maintain clean screens, squeegees, and workstations
- Communicate with the production manager and design team to ensure accurate job execution
- Assist with cleanup, reclaim, and maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ year experience operating an automatic screen-printing press preferred
- Understanding of mesh counts, squeegee durometers, and print techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Punctual, reliable, and able to follow detailed instructions
