Licensed Practical Nurse PRN
Job Description
We are seeking a part-time dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, and medication administration
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and disease management
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Skills
- Valid LPN license in Oklahoma
- Proficient in medical terminology and medical imaging techniques
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with clinical health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
