Dental Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our small private dental practice. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in providing excellent patient care and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for our patients.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is organized, attentive to detail, dependable, and enjoys building relationships with patients. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Sterilize and properly maintain instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations and training
• Assist with impressions, digital scans, lab procedures, and other clinical duties
• Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable and informed
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety procedures
• Help with stocking and maintaining dental supplies
• Work closely with the dentist and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow
• Provide a friendly, professional experience for every patient
